Does this sound like your teen?
- Mood swings that seem to come out of nowhere
- Anger that quickly escalates, sometimes makes them shut down
- Lots of self-doubt or low confidence or low self-esteem
- Find it difficult to express themselves
- Pulling away from friends, family, or activities
Emotions shape attention, memory, academic performance, decision-making, creativity, and the quality of our relationships. Yet most teens are expected to navigate all of this without ever being taught how.
Our 5-day program is built around honest conversations, hands-on activities, and guided reflection, and offers them space to explore what’s actually going on inside, without pressure or judgment.
After this program, your teen can expect to:
- Express emotions clearly
- Handle hard moments
- Develop coping tools
- Build confidence and self-esteem
- Set healthy boundaries
- Manage anger productively

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this program help teens who struggle with anger?
Anger outbursts in teens often come from feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unable to put their emotions into words. They struggle to find the language, and instead express through frustration or rage.
Our program gives them the tools and vocabulary to express their thoughts in productive ways. For teens who need deeper support, we also offer 1-on-1 therapy and coaching where we can work through these patterns at a more individual level.
How do you help teens with low self-esteem?
The teenage years bring a lot of change at once, physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially, and self-doubt tends to grow in that uncertainty. We help teens understand the science behind their own thoughts and feelings, so those experiences start to make more sense.
Self-esteem takes time to develop, so the real work happens in the continued practice of the skills and tools your teen builds during their five days with us.
What if my teen is shy or reserved?
Participation is always on each person’s terms. The right to pass is built into every session and your teen will never be pressured to share. In fact, many of our quieter participants find group therapy more accessible than one-on-one, where the expectation to speak can feel like a spotlight.
Are food and refreshments provided?
We will provide snacks and refreshments. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch, as a break is provided each day.
Do I need a diagnosis to join group therapy?
No, we do not require an official diagnosis. Our group programs are open to anyone navigating life’s challenges, whether or not they have a formal label. Our intake process helps us understand your needs and match you to the right program.
Is group therapy covered by insurance?
Group therapy facilitated by registered social workers (RSW) or registered psychotherapists (RP) may be eligible for coverage depending on your plan. We direct bill to most insurance providers and provide receipts for those we don’t.
What is your policy for missed sessions?
Payment is non-refundable and collected in full at the time of registration. Missed sessions are treated as no-shows. If you anticipate a conflict, please mention it during your consultation.
What is your cancellation policy for therapy programs?
You may cancel until June 22, 2026 to receive a full refund. Any cancellations after are not refundable. Due to the closed group format, we ensure that participants are committed to attending all sessions.
